K9Kastle Kitty at Petco
April says "Howdy!"

K9Kastle is a Brooklyn based rescue that saves companion animals from the city streets and shelters. We show the cats in local Petcos and we need YOUR help caring for them there.

We house cats at the three southern Brookyn locations (Bensonhurst, Sheepshead Bay and Kings Plaza areas). We need volunteers who can commit to caring for them 1-3 times a week. Each "shift" takes about 30-45 minutes (cleaning cages, feeding them, changing water, socializing the kitties). We have two shifts a day at each of the stores.

You must be 21 or over and be able to COMMIT to atleast shift (same time, same day) a week.

Mission Statement

K9Kastle's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome the neediest animals.

Description

K9Kastle Corp. is an IRC 501(c)3 public charity. Based in Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home
companion animals who are otherwise at great risk.
Most of our adoptable animals were anything but
adoptable when we grabbed them from the shelter, often from the euthanasia list, and
anyone offered for adoption is altered, vaccinated and
negative for felv and fiv.

We operate solely on donations and grants, and every
dime we receive is spent to benefit our animals. We are
all volunteers. Please join us to help save the animals of New York City.
