Bridges of America has a 35-year successful history as the oldest criminal justice substance abuse treatment provider for adult male and female offenders in the State of Florida. Our programs are established on the holistic approach to recovery, predicated on the 12-Step Model. We provide thousands of felony offenders the opportunity for rehabilitation and reintegration into their communities as law-abiding and tax-paying citizens. Bridges of America owns and operates therapeutic community transition centers, work releases facilities, and court-ordered drug treatment programs throughout the State.

We are looking for men and women who believe people can change. The Bradenton Bridge Transition and Community Release Center gives women the opportunity to get their lives back on track through substance abuse treatment, education, vocation, and reentry skills.

While we have a complete multidisciplinary staff, we are looking for leaders to help facilitate family ministries/skills training. We will provide the training and certification as well as oversight).

Requirements - Must complete a DOC Volunteer Application package; Application/NCIC check must be approved, complete the New Volunteer Orientation Training and have a letter from local religious body confirming approval and oversight for this specific ministry.

Supervision - Chaplain

The women at the Bradenton Bridge are DOC inmates at the lowest custody level (community) who will be reentering society as productive, tax-paying citizens in 24 months or less.
