Hospice Care brings compassion, quality care and support to individuals and their families through terminal illness while providing outreach, education, and expertise in grief support to the entire comunity.
Description
Hospice Care provides a coordinated team approach to care for patients who have a life limiting illness of which there is no cure. Hospice is not a place, it is a special kind of care focused on making sure that life is for LIVING. Hospice Care's compassionate and skilled staff bring their services to the patient in their home, a family member's home, a personal care home, assisted living facility or nursing home.The team's goal is to enhance the quality of life for each patient and their family who receives services. Volunteers are an integral part of the Hospice Care team.
