Volunteers play an essential role in enriching the lives of our residents.. Saint Therese is seeking Transition Support Volunteers to make new residents feel at home during their transition to the Saint Therese of New Hope Care Center. Transition Support Volunteers are essential in guaranteeing a high quality of life for our residents right from the start. Some of the responsibilities for this position includes: Greet new patients at the door and escort them to their assigned room, providing a 'mini-tour’ of the amenities available along the way. Help new patients and their families acclimate - answer questions and help them feel at home. Complete 1:1 visits with admissions from the past week to ensure service excellence. Complete satisfaction surveys with new and discharging patients using an iPad. Complete necessary paper work as needed. Promptly communicate status of new patients (concerns, questions, compliments) to the Marketing/Hospitality Coordinator.
