We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Product Development Expert, who has an eye for the future. You have both vision and execution in your skillset. As a Web Developer/Designer with UX/UI experience, you will help build out our re-launched website. We are seeking someone who knows what is compelling to our visitors: what features are the best; how the flow of a visit should work; and a fine eye of knowing and implementing industry standards (i.e., shopping carts). You can be a developer, and/or someone who can communicate this vision to our UI developer. You must know how to create compelling user experiences that drive and keep traffic to UniversalGiving.

We would like someone who has the ability to work with executive level management, as you will be reporting directly to the CEO and the management team. REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5-10 years of web development/engineering and UX/UI experience
  • Strong experience working across and building multiple websites, with an eye for the latest innovations. Experience with the entire website development process, from product conception, design and development to release. Knowledge of web architecture, site implementation, and underlying database applications associated with a dynamic website.
  • Deep understanding of how consumers and users interact with websites; knowledge of how to turn user flow and website experience into conversions; demonstrated product experience and implementation of key features that have led to fast and impactful results
  • Natural understanding of industry standards in product development and features
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
  • Proficiency in HTML / jQuery / CSS / or Javascript; Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Ability to improve design of site so that it is focused and streamlined
  • Adept at testing
  • Experience with building/managing teams
  • Interest in nonprofits, international issues, and philanthropy work
