Graphic Designers - Pro Bono Print & Brand Work Can Make a Difference

Taproot Foundation is looking for pro bono Graphic Designers, responsible for the visual design of a brochure or branding collateral for a nonprofit. Working with a team of other marketing professionals, the graphic designer plays an essential role in delivering the look and feel a nonprofit needs.

A successful pro bono Graphic Designer

• Has 3 years of professional experience in graphic design at an agency or as an internal graphic designer
• Has extensive experience with print design, graphics production, and be familiar with relevant design and production tools (i.e. PhotoShop, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, DreamWeaver, or equivalents)
• Has worked with marketers and can follow creative briefs, take direction, and create several design options
• Must provide a portfolio with samples of several designs in at least one of our Service Grant project areas (i.e., print collateral, visual identity systems)

A Service Grant project requires a 3-5 hour commitment each week over the course of approximately 6 months. This opportunity is flexible enough to work around the schedule of a full-time job.
