The First Tee of the Inland Northwest depends on volunteers. We operate seven months of the year and offer the opportunity to volunteer in a variety of capacities. If you have 2 hours a week or 2 hours a month, we need your help. If you enjoy helping kids and playing golf, we need your help! If you’re a parent or grandparent of a student and would like to help, we need it! The volunteer opportunities are endless and time commitments are flexible enough to fit your schedule. Volunteers are needed in all areas to impact the youth of our community and your golf skills are not a factor.

Mission Statement
Mission - To impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
Description
The Inland Northwest Golf Foundation, a tax-exempt 501c(3) organization, is the parent of The First Tee of The Inland Northwest chapter based in Spokane, WA. In the Spring of 2011 we began implementing programming consistent with a furtherance of the mission and purpose of The First Tee.
Today, The First Tee of the Inland Northwest conducts operations and programming from our home course, The Creek at Qualchan golf course, Deer Park golf course, Esmeralda golf course and the Highlands golf course in Post Falls. Our facilities provide use of a complete practice area including a private access driving range, chipping facility and putting greens.
Classes are offered to young people from ages 7 to 17.
The nominal fee for each session includes all instruction and use of the driving range, chipping and putting facilities during classes. Financial aid is available upon request. No child will be turned away due to inability to pay.
