Mabel is a 72 year old woman who is a friendly, caring and wonderful cook. She lives in a group home in Pompton Lakes and works in a day program in Wayne. She loves to be active at home and in the community. Loves to bake and cook, go out to eat, bowl, go to church and to the movies and also enjoys getting her nails done. At home, when not in the kitchen, she enjoys puzzle books and board games. She would love to have a friend to enjoy some of her favorite activities with and maybe even learn some new activities. Suc a friend will great impact Mabel's life.

Mission Statement
Consistent with the mission of the Diocese of Paterson, we provide residential, vocational, social and spiritual programs for persons with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. We offer opportunities to become more active and valued members of society, and to participate fully in life with dignity and peace.
Description
We offer ten group homes and two supervised apartment programs for adults with developmental disabilities. We also offer an adult training center for 55 adults and many of the people in our homes attend this workshop. All of our residents go to workshops each day and all have annual goals to work on both at home and at work.
