Taproot Foundation is looking for Strategy Consultants, Analytics Consultants, and Data Analysts to work on pro bono program measurement projects. Program measurement is an exciting area of interest for nonprofits that are focused on how to ensure they are making an impact and using their data to measure how they are doing and see what they can do even better.
There are three types of skill sets needed for these projects to succeed:
Strategy Consultants
The pro bono Strategy Consultant is the lead on multiple strategy elements of the Program Measurement project. They facilitate strategy discussions about the nonprofit’s program and help map the goals and strategic objectives that define the program.
A successful Strategy Consultant has 3-5 years of Post-MBA experience.
Analytics Consultants
The Analytics Consultant is the lead on the design of key program metrics and formatting a program dashboard. They translate the team’s understanding of the program into defined, measurable metrics and ensure that the design of the dashboard is user-friendly.
A successful Analytics Consultant has 3-5 years of analytics experience.
Data Analysts Needed
The Data Analyst is the lead on analyzing existing program data for the nonprofit and developing a program dashboard. They map and analyze the quality of existing program data, define the data requirements for the dashboard, and build out the program dashboard. This person should be a data and Excel expert.
For any of these roles, a Service Grant project requires a 3-5 hour commitment each week over the course of approximately 6 months. This opportunity is flexible enough to work around the schedule of a full-time job.
