Pro Bono Art Directors and Graphic Designers Needed

The Taproot Foundation is actively seeking volunteer Art Directors, Creative Directors and Graphic Designers to develop brand and print materials for local nonprofits. This creative role works to empower nonprofits with the look and feel they need to shine. Taproot pro bono creative teams deliver visual identity/branding systems, brochures, annual reports, and helps meet other design needs.

A successful pro bono Art Director:

• Has 3+ years professional graphic design experience in marketing, advertising or entertainment [LA ONLY]
• Is able to translate creative brief requirements from concept through execution
• Has a strong visual design portfolio that is innovative, reflects current design trends and showcases a broad range of clients/challenges/solutions
• Is skilled and innovative in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Incorporates team and client perspectives to meet nonprofit and stakeholder need
