As we move into autumn, we look forward to the crisp weather and the beauty of the color of the leaves. We think about enjoying apple picking and pumpkin lattes. It's a time of celebrating friends and families and giving thanks for all we have. But there are some people who are alone during this time and don't have much to celebrate. Why not share some of your good fortune and love with someone who needs it most by becoming a hospice volunteer?

Fidelis Hospice volunteers provide much needed companionship and caring to patients and their families dealing with a terminal illness. Volunteers may play cards, talk with, listen to music, watch TV or maybe just sit quietly with our patients so that they know that people care and that they aren't alone. We are looking for volunteers in your community to work with patients also living in your community. A free, comprehensive training and on-going support are provided to insure both you and our patients have a meaningful experience. So this autumn, why not fall into hospice volunteering?
