The Conservatory of Flowers is recruiting Greeter volunteers for weekend shifts. Greeters welcome visitors, collect tickets, and provide directions to other park attractions and transportation. No knowledge of plants or Golden Gate Park is needed.
This position is for you if you enjoy talking with people from around the world and can commit to two 3-hour shifts per month. Shifts are 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday.
The Conservatory offers monthly educational and social opportunities, free passes and discounts, and an engaging, flexible environment. Call Erika Frank, Director of Volunteers & Education, at (415) 637-4326 to schedule a visit.

The Conservatory of Flowers has captivated guests since opening in 1879. This gem of Victorian architecture has a long and storied history, and is the oldest wood and glass conservatory in North America. As a city, state, and national historic landmark, the Conservatory remains one of the most beloved attractions in Golden Gate Park.
The Conservatory displays thousands of tropical plants from all over the world including hundreds of orchids, stunning water lilies, and a variety of tropical fruits.
