Volunteer at the Play Summit!

Looking for a great way to spend a Saturday? Come and be a part of the 5th annual PLAY SUMMIT being held at the Sacramento Public Central Library, Tsakopoulos Galleria located at 828 I Street, Saturday, September 9th from 8:00am to 4:00pm. We expect several hundred participants at this exciting event that highlights the importance of play.

Volunteers will assist with a variety of activities including:

  • Greeting and directing event participants
  • Covering the registration table
  • Acting as a timer for the speaker sessions
  • Distributing certificates at the conclusion of the event
This one day volunteer opportunity starts at 8:00am and ends at 4:00pm. Lunch will be provided. High schoolers - this is a great way to fulfill community service requirements!

Come spend a wonderful day at the Galleria surrounded by people who care about child development and the importance of play.

The 5th annual Play Summit, presented by Fairytale Town, Sacramento Public Library and the California State Library aims to highlight the importance of play, the many types of play, ways to incorporate play into daily and school life and much more.
