Volunteer O'Fallon

Help us honor our first-responders and military troops by engaging in meaningful projects:

PATRIOT BLOOD DRIVE
Friday, September 8
10 AM - 2 PM
O'Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall), Multi-Purpose Room

The City of O'Fallon's annual Patriot Blood Drive honors the first responders who bravely rushed to help those in need on September 11, 2001. This event provides an opportunity for caring citizens to help save local lives through blood donations.

Appointments are required for this drive, allowing us to focus on everyone's health while maintaining safety protocols. All appointment times are for whole blood donation unless you choose to donate double-red blood (those appointments are marked on the openings on the schedule).

9/11 REMEMBRANCE WALK
Monday, September 11
9 AM - 9:30 AM
O'Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall), 9/11 Memorial

The morning begins at 8:30am with the Patriot Day Ceremony at the 9/11 memorial, followed by a 1-mile walk that reflects on the sacrifices made, honors those who continue to inspire us, and ends in a show of patriotism along Main Street.
Prior to the start of the walk, pick up photos and stories of the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice when they ran into the danger to help others. Walk with them to show that they are not forgotten.

O'FALLON REMEMBERS.

Mission Statement

To promote and enhance city services through citizen engagement. Creating a vibrant environment by providing quality services, and allocating resources responsibly to our citizens and community stakeholders

Description

Volunteer Services coordinates the volunteer efforts of citizens interested in helping their community grow through personal involvement. Volunteers enhance City-sponsored activities, programs, and events by providing additional support, helping to ensure their success. Volunteer service benefits not only individuals, but the entire community. Senior citizens, students of all ages, families, groups and organizations, and others with an interest in community service can choose to volunteer their time and talents. Volunteering can also help students make career choices and fulfill service hour requirements.

Many of your neighbors already perform some type of volunteer service. And, as our events are community-focused, volunteers do not need to be residents of O’Fallon to participate in the program.
