We have become an adoption agency and need to reach persons
- interested in receiving information related to adoption of children from the foster care system
- individuals trying to keep up to date with changing guidelines for children in care
- community resources available for additional training about foster care and adoption
- connecting with individuals facing educational, behavioral and medical resources available for parents of adopted children

Mission Statement
Children Awaiting Parents (CAP) finds loving adoptive families for children waiting in foster care, advocate nationally for adoption by bringing attention to the children, by promoting interest among people who could become permanent adoptive families and by encouraging adoption friendly policies.
Description
CAP works closely with child welfare agencies nationwide to help increase the visibility of children who have waited years for adoptive homes. We also educate and support families as they explore and initiate the adoption process, and raise awareness about the great need for foster and adoptive parents.
