Interested in gaining experience with animals, exotic and domestic? Rancho Wildlife Foundation is seeking consistent animal care volunteers. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to dishes, preparing animal diets, cleaning enclosures and assisting zookeepers with other daily responsibilities.
We are seeking individuals who can commit to one shift a week. Current openings Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 8am-11:30am only. Currently no weekend shifts available.
Please note: This can be a labor intensive job. You will be getting dirty. Animal enclosures can be dusty, muddy and wet. We are scrubbing water dishes and raking exhibits extensively on a daily basis. There will also be heavy lifting involved. Volunteers do not come in direct contact with the animals.
