Most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays volunteers help us build and renovate affordable homes to promote self-reliance for median icome homeowners in Johnson, Cedar, Iowa and Washington counties. Many shifts may be reserved for TEAMs but every volunteer may sign up for any available shift. Our construction schedule begins in April and typically continues through mid-November. You will be helping with a variety of tasks from framing and roofing to painting and landscaping. No experience is needed! We will train you and provide all of the tools! Check out the Volunteer Website and click on the blue VOLUNTEER button for a calendar of opportunities! New shifts are added two weeks prior to the current date. https://build.iowavalleyhabitat.org/https://build.iowavalleyhabitat.org/
Groups should call the Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity office at 319.337.8949 to make reservations.
