Novus is currently seeking licensed Hairstylist and nail stylist volunteers to assist patients with the small things such as washing and styling hair to filing and painting nails. Novus is seeking licensed hairstylists and nail stylists to share their time and talents with patients on our Hospice. Just a little of your time will help our patients maintain their much-deserved dignity, and take a burden off their shoulders.

Description
Patient visitation, life review, discuss hobbies and interests, current events, read or sing to patients. Accompany patient outside if appropriate, companionship and socialization report progress to hospice team. Volunteer may sit with a patient while caregiver runs errands, but no hands-on care. compassionate, caring, good listening skills, able to sit quietly at times if needed. Interest in others and their life's stories, have own transportation, able to complete and send in documentation after each visit.
