If you are 55 or older, volunteer in our Syosset food pantry to organize and shelve donated food as well as pack bags of food to be distributed to local families in need. Volunteer alone or with a friend and make a difference in the lives of others. Volunteers needed beginning Mid-September through December. Help with Thanksgiving and Holiday packages. A few hours a week is all that's necessary. Guaranteed to change the lives of hundreds of families!

To match volunteers, 55 years of age or older who reside in Nassau County, with volunteer opportunities through our Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) .
Description
Volunteer opportunities include delivery, collection and service of food, friendly visiting, providing transportation to those in need of transport to medical appointments and other essential appointments. Volunteers may be needed in other areas as well.
