Volunteer in helping MND's job-seeking clients look and feel confident, comfortable, and professional during their job search process. As a volunteer, you will assist in maintaining our no-cost Clothing Boutique, organizing clothing donations, and styling clients with professional clothing.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to interact positively with clients, donors, and staff
- Provide reassuring and constructive feedback
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with current styles and professional clothing standards
- Develop ways to efficiently and creatively display clothing for clients in the professional clothing boutique
- Sort, organize and hang clothing donations and accessories
- Assess the need for items to be re-donated and prepare donations
- Meet clothing donors to collect their donations and have them complete an information form
- Assist clients in finding professional clothing in their size and style during regular boutique hours (Tuesdays/Thursdays, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm) and on orientation days (select Wednesdays, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm)
Commit at least 2-4 hours per month between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Consistent shifts are preferred but not required.
