Disaster Action Team volunteer. Responds to Single family fires and othere single family disasters. It can be during working hours (i.e. 8:30am-5pm) or after hours (5pm-8:30am). You will be going to the scene to assist families as a team to help with case work and give assistance. The position does require classroom training and also mentor training. Approximately 20hours.

Half of the nation's blood supply is collected by the Red Cross.
Among our emergency services for the men and women of the armed forces is the delivery of urgent family messages-around the clock and around the globe.
As part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, Red Cross reconnects families separated by conflicts and disasters around the world through international tracking services and Red Cross messages.
Our service area includes, High Point, Archdale, Trinity, Jamestown and all of Davidson County.
