The Park Circle Butterfly Garden hosts educational tours to preschools and serves as a showcase garden of plants that thrive in the Lowcountry. The garden is also home to several beautifully painted picnic tables and benches. There are two volunteer opportunities available to help maintain the artwork on these tables and benches:

Touch-Up Artists - These volunteers are needed to do touch up work as needed. This may include adding new artwork or fixing artwork that has become damaged. KNCB will provide all painting supplies and equipment. Volunteers interested in this opportunity should email samples of their artwork to beautification@northcharleston.org.

Volunteers to Polyurethane - These volunteers are needed to make sure the artwork on the 5 tables and 3 benches is protected. We need a small group of volunteers several times each year to apply a few coats of polyurethane. Our goal is to have this done monthly, and groups may commit to one or more months at a time. KNCB will provide all supplies and equipment. This is a large project that we are constantly enhancing. Painters are needed for as much or as little time as you are able to donate. These volunteers will be added to an email list to be notified as opportunities become available throughout the year. Requirements: Adults 18 ; touch-up artists should email samples of artwork to beautification@northcharleston.org.
