ORGANIZATION: Keep North Charleston Beautiful

Help us maintain our Flowerscape gardens around North Charleston! KNCB’s gardens act as educational gardens for the community. For example, the Park Circle Butterfly Garden hosts educational tours to preschools and serves as a showcase garden of plants that do well in the Lowcountry. This is a fantastic opportunity for any individual who loves gardening and working outside. You can be a part of helping to make North Charleston bloom with beauty!

KNCB will provide you with a Bloom Kit of supplies, and you will be assigned a garden to weed and deadhead (a minimum of 3 hours each month.) While working in the garden, you will also act as a representative for KNCB. You may be approached by interested community members as you are working, and KNCB will provide you with program information to share with them. Requirements: Adults 18 ; must be available to meet with KNCB staff during office hours of 7am-4pm, Monday-Thursday to pick up and drop off supplies.
