We are looking for qualified board members to help us customize, and support a new nonprofit in Prince George's County. Binding Abilities & Resources Center, Inc. helps kids with challenges that affect the stages of development. We have two major components which are Specialized Programs for children with disabilities, and a Youth Mentoring Program for youth that need some guidance, and support. We currently will be looking for 8 dedicated members of the board. Please, serious applicants only! Please be willing to fundraise, and help build program ideas! We are excited to hear from you! Description
Our organization has two different components. We give services such as respite care, in home support, and wrap around services to children with special needs.
We also have an At Risk Youth Mentoring program that targets youth that exhibit risky behavior that result in teen pregnancy, truency, academic failure, or bullied. Other areas targeted are children under served, homeless, and underprivileged.
Our goal is to meet kids where they are and help them to reach their full potential regardless of their challenges.
