The Friends of Mistletoe State Park organization needs a few good volunteers to help with Mistletoe's Fall Family Festival on Saturday, Oct. 10, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Have fun assisting Friends members with hay rides, cake walks, cornhusk doll making, children's games, and more. Your choice of activities! Join us for a few hours, or stay to enjoy the whole event. Interested? Need more information? Call the park office for more information: 706-541-0321 and ask for Brenda.

Our mission is simple. We partner with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, local community and business leaders and community volunteers to promote, support, improve and preserve Mistletoe State Park.
Description
Friends of Mistletoe State Park, a chapter of Friends of Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites, is a group of local volunteers who work to support Mistletoe State Park in numerous ways. Our volunteers often help out with special events, improvement projects and maintenance tasks at the park. Through partnerships with local business and community leaders, we help fund site improvements, maintenance needs and interpretive programming.
