Starting in October, the Veneta Senior Meals/Meals on Wheels will relocate at the new Fern Ridge Service Center. We are looking for outgoing volunteers who enjoy meeting and interacting with people. The Reservation Host/Hostess will greet and check in our Cafe' 60 guests. Other responsibilities will include taking meal reservations and cancellations from clients, counting the daily cash donations and assisting with filliing out various forms for our seniors. This site is open Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays.
This is a great chance to be involved in your community, share stories and bring a little sunshine to Senior in your area.

Description
The Senior Meals Program operates 11 Cafe 60 dining sites throughout Lane County where seniors over 60 and their spouses to share companionship and a hot, delicious and nutritious mid-day meal. We also deliver Meals on Wheels throughout Lane County.
