Join the 9/11 Day movement and make a plan to volunteer in your community on Friday, September 11, 2015! You are invited to volunteer at Arc's Value Village in Brooklyn Center (opportunities also available at our locations in Bloomington, New Hope, Richfield and St. Paul) on Friday, September 11 in honor of the National Day of Service and Remembrance.
Volunteers will work together to unpack, sort and tag donations for Arc's Value Village and also learn more about The Arc Greater Twin Cities and its programs and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
Volunteer shifts available: 9am-12pm, 1-4pm, 4-6pm and 6-8pm. Individuals, groups and families are welcome (youth volunteers must be at least 8 years old). If the 11 th doesn’t work for you, opportunities are also available the weekend of September 12-13 or any days surrounding 9/11.

Description
The Arc Minnesota is a statewide nonprofit organization that works to promote and protect the human rights of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc helps people navigate systems while working to advance social change centered in justice, equity and belonging in community. Arc's Value Village is a public awareness and revenue generating vehicle for The Arc Minnesota. Arc's Value Village accepts clothing, housewares, art, media, books & related items and sells those items to the community.
