We are looking for Volunteers to assist a growing Ministry with daily tasks. We have a need for the following:
Office Help: Working in the Main Office 2 - 3 hours one time or more a week based on what the individual can offer.
Voucher Office: Assist the public with obtaining Food Vouchers. Open Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri 9 - 11 am
Food Pantry: Assist with handing out food to the public. Open Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri 9 - 11 am.
Outlet Store & Thrift Store: Assist staff with sorting and maintaining continual rotation of racks. Hours of Operation Mon - Sat 10 am - 5 pm.
Residential Areas: Based on current needs (teaching, encouragement)
If you can even offer 1 hour of your time periodically, we would love to have you! We have many needs for a growing Ministry!

Mission Statement
The Haven of Rest Rescue Mission of Bristol, Inc. is set apart by the Spirit of God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ while meeting the physical, emotional and other needs of the homeless, needy and those who are bound and bruised by life-controlling problems. Food, shelter, clothing, basic counseling, training, referral and structured programs are provided to meet the needs of the Mission's clients. Locations include a main campus at 624 Anderson Street, Bristol, Tennessee, a Thrift Store at 124 Pennsylvania Avenue, Bristol, Tennessee and other satellite campuses. The primary service area of the Mission is Sullivan County, Tennessee and Washington County, Virginia. Services are provided for people who come to the Mission from outside the primary service area.
Description
We provide Shelter, Food, Diapers and Clothing.
Public meal every day from 5-6 PM.
Chapels Services every evening at 7:30 PM.
