GoodGuides Youth Mentoring is looking for volunteer Mentors for our Juvenile Justice Youth Mentoring program! Our Mentors are matched with youth, 12-17yrs., who are involved in our Juvenile Justice court system and would greatly benefit from having a positive, consistent role model in their life.
Our Mentor's support, encourage, have FUN, and show their mentee that they matter. It doesn't take a lot to make a difference and help shape a better future for a deserving youth!
- Mentoring is done in one-on-one and group settings
- We ask that our mentors and mentees commit to 4 hours a month for 1 full year.
- GoodGuides staff provide monthly activities -All you need to do is show up, be yourself, and have fun.

Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona is dedicated to the ideal of strengthening our families and community through the Power of Work! Our nonprofit organization is about providing opportunity to youth and adults that may not find it elsewhere. Through our Workforce Development Programs, we provide skill development and support services through 6 youth programs and 5 adult programs. Goodwill(r) is also a major employer in Tucson - our programs and services, donation centers and thrift stores employ over 500 individuals. Our vision is that all people have the opportunity to reach their potential and contribute to our community.

- We ask our mentors to commit to a minimum of 1 year. *Evidence shows that mentoring relationships that last for 12 months or more , had more positive benefits to the youth and the value of the relationship was stronger.
- We ask our mentors to commit to at least 4hrs a month. *Youth that benefit the most from mentoring are those who have consistent contact and all scheduled meetings are kept.
