It's that time of year again! NRC families are gearing up to send their kids back to school. For families on a tight budget, this time of year can be a stressful one as school supply lists get longer and longer each year. How can you help? We are looking for individuals, groups (boy scouts, girl scouts, church, etc.), and businesses to run back to school drives. This could be as simple as an individual picking out a backpack and stuffing it with all the necessary supplies, or putting a big box out at work and getting coworkers to drop in items like paper and pencils.
Richmond City school supply lists can be found at: http://web.richmond.k12.va.us/Home/Parents/Supplies.aspx
Please drop off donations to the Neighborhood Resource Center located at 1519 Williamsburg Road. Questions can be answered by Jenny Rockwell at 804-864-5797 or jenny@nrccafe.org.
