As a Program Development Specialist, you will oversee information sharing and identification verification documents in order to develop an Ex-offender Re-entry Smartbook & Resource Manual.You will assist ex-offenders in securing required documents (birth certificate, social security card, military records, etc.) after release from NJDOC facilities. Other responsibilities: identify and document the status of the offender's driver's license or state identification card at the time of intake in order to determine what actions are needed to secure or maintain license or ID; verify each offender's true identity at time of arrest; compile data base of information and tools to report recidivism and program participation status. Must be able and willing to adapt to diverse populations. Adults only.

VMC goes beyond matching to educating volunteers. Professional development is offered to volunteer managers, agency boards, and individuals wishing to serve on a not-for-profit board of directors. Business partnerships enable us to assist them in planning and executing volunteer projects. In addition, outreach and senior services are offered through friendly visiting and telephone reassurance programs.
