Celebrate girls’ achievements and hard work at the annual Medals of Honor event. Girls will be recognized for earning the Highest Awards in Girl Scouting. Help make this event a success from start to finish through planning, preparation and event completion.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Meet once per month for approximately three months (September - November, or at the discretion of the sub-committee chair) with the event occurring early December.

2. Help set up/ clean up the Medals of Honor event.

Girl Scouts of Gateway Council serves approximately 11,000 members-nearly 6,500 girls in grades K-12 and 4,500 adults in North Florida. Our service area includes 35 counties: Alachua, Baker, Bay, Bradford, Calhoun, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Escambia, Flagler, Franklin, Gadsden, Gilchrist, Gulf, Hamilton, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Leon, Levy, Liberty, Madison, Nassau, Okaloosa, Putnam, Santa Rosa, St. Johns, Suwannee, Taylor, Union, Wakulla, Walton and Washington.
