If you like breaking and taking things apart, you could help low-income families achieve their dreams of homeownership. Our Metal Recycling Assistants help us with taking items that ReStore can't sell apart and sorting different metals. You will truly become a treasure hunter and help us raise money!
Volunteer Shifts (flexibility is available)
Monday-Friday: 10 am-2 pm & 2 pm-6 pm
Saturday: 9 am-1 pm & 1 pm-5 pm
Metal Recycling Assistant Roles & Responsibilities
* Help disassemble products for recycling
* Find & sort precious metals
Desired Skills & Experience
* Age 18+
* Able to take directions
* Ability to use hand tools
* Basic knowledge of metal recycling desired, but not required
Training & Resources provided
* ½ hour orientation
* 4 hour training with ReStore staff member or experienced volunteer
* Staff support is always available to assist with questions

Mission Statement
The Green Bay ReStore works in partnership with Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity. It is a retail operation providing a valuable source of cash flow through the sale of donated building materials. The revenue supports the construction of Habitat for Humanity homes to help families in need in the Green Bay area.
Description
ReStore accepts donations of new, gently used and salvaged building materials from individuals, retailers, businesses, contactors, remodelers, and manufacturers. These good quality items are sold to the general public at a fraction of retail prices, with all proceeds going to Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity.
