Open Streets at Penn Fest is Richfield's biggest block party! Penn Avenue closes down to allow people to walk, bike and explore the Penn Avenue neighborhood. Businesses, community groups, entertainers, food trucks and so much more fill the street! Volunteers are needed to make this a successful event.
Sunday, September 15 from 1:00 - 5:00pm along Penn Avenue in Richfield.
Time Commitment: There will be two shifts of volunteers on Sunday, September 15. Volunteers choose which shift they can work and commit to the entire three hour shift. Shift options are:
- 11:00am - 2:30pm
- 2:30 - 6:00pm
Location: Volunteers will be assigned to each of the Penn Ave. intersections
Responsibilities:
- Hand out information and maps to Penn Fest attendees
- Answer questions and direct people to events/locations
- Move barricades into place at the beginning and end of event
- Ensure that a safe environment is being upheld, report any suspicious or unsafe activity to event staff
Training: A detailed packet of information will be shared with each volunteer to help prepare them for the day.

To offer opportunities for individuals with disabilities to actively participate in Recreation, Leisure and Community Education programs in the four cities of Blooington, Eden Prairie, Edina and Richfield.

Description
AR&LE is a cooperative between the cities of Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina and Richfield that provides Recreation, Leisure and Community Education opportunities to individuals with disabilities.
The AR&LE Ski & Snowboard program provides seven weeks of fun, safe, quality ski/snowboard instruction to individulas with developmental disabilities.
