Our Volunteer Ushers appreciate live theatre and provide friendly helpful service to our patrons. This position requires some stair climbing and standing for most volunteers. During the performance all ushers sit at the back of the theatre ready to escort patrons to and from the theatre as needed. All volunteers are trained to respond appropriately to emergency situations. Most shifts are 3.5 hours in duration and are scheduled based upon the volunter's availability. Volunteers earn credits toward complimentary theatre tickets.

Description

For more than 50 years PCPA/Pacific Conservatory Theatre has presented exemplary theatre and provided excellent training with a resident company of theatre professionals. Begun in the summer of 1964, founder Donovan Marley laid the ground work for a year-round professional theatre company. PCPA remains the only resident professional company on the Central Coast producing consistent quality entertainment for the community while training thousands of actors and theatre technicians for a career in theatre.
