Account Directors - Nonprofits Need Your Strategic HR Skills Pro Bono

Taproot Account Directors lead teams of 5-6 pro bono consultants on pro bono projects for a nonprofit. The Account Director’s role is to staff the team, manage relationships, and keep a bird’s-eye view of the project. The Account Director also checks closely with a Taproot Program Manager to track progress and resolve challenges to ensure the successful completion of each project.

A successful Account Director:

  • Has 10 years of experience in Human Resources (i.e., staff development, recruitment, performance management)
  • Has managed leadership teams and led successful change efforts
  • Can negotiate executive or board-level relationships
  • Has Director, VP, or Partner-level experience
