Last year, Humanitarian Service Project's Christmas offering distributed 25 tons of food to low-income families, and provided gifts to over 2,000 underprivileged children and 135 senior citizens in DuPage and Kane counties.
Groups and individuals can be a part of this by volunteering to sort food or toys in HSP's warehouse from late October to December.
Food sorting is done through November, with Gift sorting taking place in December. Call HSP at 630-221-8340 if you wish to schedule a group!
Weekdays only. December is for 18 year-olds or older. Holiday volunteering hours 9:30-5:00 start November 1st.
