Families have FUN volunteering together! Our "Reading Therapy" program is meant to engage the children with our patients who seem to become like "grand parents or great grand parents".
Once the introductions are made by Mom/Dad they can either stay for the visit or walk on down and visit with another patient while the children read stories.
Would you consider some good, QUALITY family time with Homestead Hospice? It only takes 1 hour a week and we keep you within 5-10 miles of your home.
