Volunteers needed to provide emotional support and compassionate care to terminally ill patients in your area. Our specially trained volunteers are in an integral part of the Homestead Hospice team. Whether its reading a favorite book, watching a football game, cooking a meal, or helping an overwhelmed family. Volunteering will not only enrich YOUR life, but ALL the lives you touch. There is a short orientation/training and a very flexible schedule.

Homestead Hospice is dedicated to our patients and their families. When someone you love is diagnosed with a life limiting illness, everything changes. We are here to guide you through this difficult journey so that you can spend quality time with your loved one.
Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance. However, care is provided regardless of ability to pay.
