Your lifelong experience is valuable. How? To a child who is struggling to move into the next book, or who may need one-on-one help the teacher has not time for, it's PRICELESS. There are more students to teachers in classes than ever before. Even a 10 minute extra lesson from you to a student may push them into the next level. If you are over age 55 and working part-time or retired, our schools need you. We pay for the background check, mileage and supplemental insurance while you tutor. In a couple of hours a week, your difference could last a lifetime!

Common Good RSVP engages people age 55 or better in volunteer activities that meet community needs and enrich their lives. Proudly serving eleven counties in southern Minnesota.
Description
Common GoodRSVP volunteers are a part of a national movement of like-minded giving back to their communities - and have been since 1971! Today, nearly 450,000 RSVP volunteers serve more than 60,000 public and private community agencies across the United States.
The RSVP program is a part of the Senior Service Corps and is operated under the direction of the Corporation for National and Community Service, a federal agency.
