Idaho Botanical Garden

A family event presented by the Idaho Botanical Garden and the Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History at the College of Idaho, Saturday, August 22, 2015. Volunteer shifts: 8:30am 12:30pm and 12:15 pm to 3:30 pm. Volunteers facilitate at fun educational stations. Also in admissions, ticket takers, and two individuals to dress in costumes as a bee and a Venus fly trap.

Description

The Idaho Botanical Garden is a 33 acre garden located just a few minutes from downtown Boise. It was started in 1984 and over the years has bloomed into a wonderful center for education and horticultural displays. Today the Idaho Botanical Garden is made up of 13 specialty gardens which surrounds our guests with its beauty and tranquility. The Garden offers numerous special events throughout the year to excite both the young and old.
