Elmira's Wildlife Sanctuary is in need of people to help share our mission with others. This is a great opportunity to educate and inform others about animals - and get to know some yourself! Come help us show folks around the sanctuary.

We share our knowledge of the animals at the sanctuary as well as the reasons they are there, the plight of animals in the wild, and some cute stories too. Each tour takes about an hour. You will be on your feet the entire time.

Public tours are offered weekly. Private tours, parties, fundraisers are also scheduled periodically. Elmira's is a true sanctuary and there is no public contact with the animals. Tour guides also run the gift shop.

Telling people about the needs of these animals and asking them to share the info can help stop the legal and illegal explotation of animals worwldwide. Volunteer applications are available on our website http://www.elmiraswildlife.org/pdf/volunteerApplication.pdf
