VITAS is looking for kind and caring people to help terminally ill patients and their families. Friendly visits, simple errands, providing a listening ear and the gift of friendship at a crucial time can make a real difference in another's life. Yours, too! Other VITAS volunteer opportunities: relief care (sit with a patient while the caregiver takes a break); Paw Pal visits (bring your trained 4 legged friend to visit a patient). There are many ways to volunteer. Our patients are at home and in facilities in Cuyahoga and surrounding counties. Please contact us today!

VITAS integrates Volunteers into the hospice program by actively recruiting, training, supporting, and creatively utilizing volunteers to meet patient and family needs. Volunteers and their contributions are respected and valued.
Description
Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare, providing friendly, non-medical care to hospice patients and their families and offering administrative services in the office to support the work of hospice staff.
