ReStores save tons of usable materials from a wasteful landfill fate by coming to donors' homes and providing a pick up service. We pick up furniture, building supplies, applliances and more to stock the store. Pick Up Assistants will help drivers load donations all around the Milwaukee area.
Pick Up Assistants must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Volunteer opportunities are available Tuesday - Saturday from 10:30 - 4:00.
All the funds we raise go to Habitat for Humanity. Please contact us if you are interested in a one time or on-going volunteer opportunity.

Description
Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing by working alongside future homeowners and volunteers to build and rehab simple, decent and affordable houses. Milwaukee Habitat also two donation-driven retail stores called the ReStores.
All proceeds from ReStore sales benefit Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity's mission of building simple, decent and affordable homes in partnership with families in need. The ReStore is stocked exclusively with donated items such as new and used furniture, appliances, kitchen cabinets, building materials and other home goods.
