PIECES has many volunteer opportunities available. We are in need of instructors/mentors in professional development and in art disciplines: poetry/spoken word, audio recording, photography, filming, video editing, guitar, drums/cajon, piano, dance, visual arts (painting, drawing, sculpture, ect.), songwriting, music composition, sound design, music business, career development, personal finance, and management. We also seek volunteers and interns with a desire to gain hands-on experience in communications, development and outreach. As a young organization we can use your help in seeking funding, donated supplies and other support. Your schedule as a volunteer is flexible. Our main interest is that we are able to provide programming that is easily accessible to our members. Lessons and workshops may run on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis - depending on your availability. Please share your talents and support a young arts organization that has been making a huge impact in young peoples' lives in the Venice community and those who travel from around L.A to participate. With your help, we will continue to grow, expand to other LA cities as well as offer more valuable resources to young people.
