Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity that both makes a difference and keeps things simple?
Consider volunteering at Waukesha County Health and Human Services as a Volunteer Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant. In this feel-good position you will welcome clients of Veterans Services to the department. You will assist with check-in and answer basic questions. You will also be trained to answer phone calls and take messages. You may also help with occasional administrative tasks such as basic data entry, light filing, envelope stuffing, etc.
There is the potential for this to turn into more admin work, including posting social media updates for the program and more.
This is an ideal opportunity for outgoing and friendly people who enjoy working and interacting with veterans. The ideal candidate will volunteer 2-4 hours per week in the morning. This can be split into one or more shifts.
