The YAC provides an opportunity for central Ohio area youth ages 13-18 to learn about philanthropy and to participate in all aspects of grantmaking. While accumulating community service hours that many high schools require for graduation, YAC Members learn to evaluate projects that are designed to improve youth wellness through health advocacy, education and prevention.
The YAC meets the third Tuesday of every month from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. An approved membership application and orientation is required before prospects may attend meetings.
Many programs to improve the health and wellness of youth are created by organizations without the needed input of the very individuals these programs are designed to help, that is what makes the YAC so special!
