Austin Habitat for Humanity (AHFH) is seeking volunteers to assist in conducting homeowner surveys in target neighborhoods in January. AHFH plans to use the survey results to analyze its impact on its homeowners, improve homeowner services, and to increase presence within the local community. Volunteers will go door to door conducting these surveys.
Experience, knowledge and skills:
-Sensitivity to the issues and experiences of low-income clients
-Good verbal communication skills
-Ability to spend at least 4 consecutive hours standing/walking
-Experience conducting surveys preferred
-Fluent English/Spanish preferred
Time Commitment:
Surveys will be conducted on Saturdays in January
Volunteers will be asked to commit to at least 5 hours
Volunteers will attend a training session prior to administering surveys
