SAFE

This is a great opportunity for persons wishing to work directly with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Hours will vary depending on availability and need. Services provided may include:

  • Providing emotional support to survivors

  • Assistance filling out restraining order paperwork

  • Assistance filling out Crime Victims Compensation Program forms

  • Providing information about community resources

  • Accompanying survivors to court, hospital, and police stations

  • Co-facilitating support groups

  • Helping survivors navigate services at the Ruthann Family Justice Center

  • Assisting survivors in creating safety plans for themselves and their children

  • Listen

  • Empower victims to make choices

Attending our free 40-hour training is required for all direct client service positions. The next training will begin in March!
