Mission Statement
Shawnee Community Services provides free food, clothing, shoes to anyone; emergency funds and free/low cost household items are also available.
Description
Our volunteers pick up donated bakery products which are given free to anyone who comes in. We also have a food pantry that serves 400 families a month. The community also gives us household items that we have available in a garage sale setting for free or a low fee donation which we use to support our operation. When funds permit, we help with emergency funds for rent, utilities, presciptions, etc. We have been located in Shawnee, KS for 35 years.
